The short version: Wasteclock doesn't collect anything, because it has nowhere to send it.
Nothing. Wasteclock has no account system, no network calls, and no analytics SDKs of any kind. We, the developer, never see your headcount, your rate, how long your meetings run, or anything else you do in the app.
The only information involved anywhere is the standard purchase record Apple itself keeps for any paid App Store app, used solely to confirm you bought Wasteclock. We don't have access to that beyond what Apple shows every developer in App Store Connect.
Wasteclock remembers your last-used headcount, rate, and hourly/salary mode so the app is pre-filled next time you open it. This is stored using Apple's standard on-device app storage (UserDefaults) and never leaves your phone: there's no iCloud sync, no backend, and no way for us to access it even if we wanted to.
A running meeting's elapsed time and cost are not saved at all. Closing the app always returns you to a fresh, empty setup screen.
Nobody. Wasteclock doesn't use any third-party services, advertising networks, or analytics platforms. The only party involved in anything is Apple, through the App Store's standard purchase processing, the same as any paid app.
Wasteclock is a general business utility and isn't directed at children. Since the app collects no data from anyone, this applies equally regardless of age.
If Wasteclock's data practices ever change in a future update, this page will be updated to reflect that, and the "last updated" date above will change.
