Tap Scan a Page and take a picture of a page, choose a photo, or paste text you copied. Roah shows the page with hard words marked, like a highlighter pen. Tap any word to hear it. For Bible names, Roah also shows how to say it, with the stressed part in capitals.
No. There is no account and no sign-in. Everything works on your device, even without an internet connection.
Lay the page flat, make sure it's well lit, and hold the phone so the whole page fits on screen. Glare, shadows, and blur make text harder to read. If one picture doesn't work, try again a little farther back.
Roah uses the voices installed on your device. For a more natural voice, open the Settings app, go to Accessibility > Spoken Content > Voices > English, and download a voice marked Enhanced or Premium. Then choose it in Roah under Settings > Voice.
Turn up the volume with the buttons on the side of your device. Roah plays sound even when the ring switch is set to silent.
Your first 3 pages are free, with everything working. The sample page doesn't count. Pages you've already opened stay readable forever.
Unlimited pages. It's a one-time purchase, not a subscription, so there's nothing to cancel.
