Joining a trip

Tap the invite link your maid of honor sent, or get the app, tap Join with a code, and type the trip code. Then add your name. No account needed.

Free trips hold 6 people, including the maid of honor. If a trip is full, the maid of honor can unlock more spots with the trip pass.

Maid of honor on a new phone

When you planned the trip you got a maid of honor code (like ABCD-EFGH-JKMN). On the new phone tap Maid of honor on a new phone? and enter the trip code and that code. If you lost it, open the trip on your old phone and look under Your maid of honor code, or email us from the address you'd like us to reply to.

The trip pass

The maid of honor buys it once per trip ($9.99). For everyone in that trip it adds unlimited guests, the photo wall, the recap poster, reminders, and poster invites. Planning, money, packing, the city guide and SOS are always free. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google.

Running the trip

The maid of honor can edit the trip's names, city, dates and poster, remove someone from the trip, and get a new trip code if one got shared too widely. Bridesmaids can leave a trip from the bottom of the Trip tab. Anything they paid or owe stays in Money.

No signal?

BachPlan keeps a copy of your trips on your phone. With no signal you can still see the plan, the money, the guide and SOS, and check things off; your checkmarks sync when the signal comes back.

Money

BachPlan works out who owes whom with the fewest payments. Pay buttons open Venmo, Cash App or PayPal with the amount filled in; BachPlan never touches the money.

Emergencies

If anyone is hurt or in danger, call 911. The SOS button in the app lists emergency rooms, urgent care and the police non-emergency line for your trip's city.

Privacy

See our privacy policy. To delete everything about you, use Delete my data in the app's Settings.
