Privacy Policy
BachPlan, by Blackhook Group LLC. Effective October 10, 2026.
BachPlan helps a group plan a bachelorette weekend in Nashville, Scottsdale, Austin, New Orleans, Miami or Las Vegas. There are no accounts: no email, no password, no phone number required. Here is exactly what the app keeps and why.
What we store
- A random device sign-in. When you plan or join a trip, your phone gets an anonymous sign-in so the app knows which trips are yours. It is not linked to your name, email, phone number, or Apple or Google account.
- Trip details the maid of honor enters: the bride's first name, her own name, the city, the dates, and the poster theme.
- Your name and RSVP when you join a trip.
- The plan: stops, times, addresses and notes the maid of honor adds, stops people suggest, and which stops you check off.
- Where you're staying, if the maid of honor adds it: the address, check-in time, door code, Wi-Fi and a regroup spot. Only people in the trip can see it.
- Polls people in the trip ask, and your vote.
- A group chat link, if the maid of honor adds one.
- Money: expenses the group logs (what, how much, who paid, how it's split), settle-ups you record, and any payment handles you choose to add (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal or Zelle phone/email) so others can pay you back.
- Packing: items anyone adds and your own checkmarks.
- Photos people add to the trip's photo wall (with the trip pass).
- A maid of honor recovery code, stored only in scrambled (hashed) form, so she can move the trip to a new phone.
- A notification token, only if you allow notifications in a trip with the trip pass. It's a random address for your phone that Apple or Google gives us so we can send trip reminders. We store nothing else with it.
- Wrong-code attempts, briefly, so we can stop someone guessing trip codes. They're deleted within a day.
We do not collect your location, contacts, email, or phone number, and we don't use advertising IDs.
Location: if you tap I'm separated in SOS, the app reads your location once, on your phone, and puts a map link in a message that you choose to send. BachPlan never receives your location.
Calendar: if you tap Add to calendar, the app writes the trip's stops to your phone's calendar. We never read or receive your calendar.
Who can see it
- Everything about a trip is visible only to people in that trip. Joining needs the trip code or invite link the maid of honor shares, and she can remove anyone or reset the code.
- Photos are private to the trip and are shown through short-lived links.
- Payment handles you add are visible to people in your trip so they can pay you.
Payments
The trip pass is bought through Apple or Google. We never see card details. We receive a receipt from the store to confirm the purchase and unlock the trip.
BachPlan never moves money between people. Settle-up buttons open Venmo, Cash App or PayPal, which follow their own privacy policies.
What we never do
No ads. No analytics or tracking SDKs. No selling or sharing your data. No data used to train AI.
The app saves a copy of your trips on your phone so it works without signal. That copy stays on your phone.
Where it lives
Trip data and photos are stored with Supabase, our hosting provider, in the United States. Notifications are delivered by Apple (on iPhone) and by Google's Firebase Cloud Messaging (on Android), which receive only your phone's notification token and the message text.
Deleting your data
The maid of honor or the person who added it can remove stops, expenses, packing items and photos in the app. The maid of honor can delete the whole trip, and anyone can leave a trip.
Delete my data (in the app's Settings) deletes your sign-in, your name and payment handles, your photos, your notification token, and any trips you made as maid of honor. In trips you joined, your share of the money stays as "Former guest" so the group's totals still add up. You can also email hello@blackhookgroup.com and we'll do it within 30 days.
Children
BachPlan is not directed at children under 13.
